Values
Successful and sustainable organisational culture emerges from the core values that a company lives by. These values become the unwritten rules of conduct; the ones that everyone understands without having to think about them. We have four simple values that guide us through thick and thin:
- Freedom. In organisational terms freedom means being able to operate at your best, knowing you have the support of others. It means freedom from the fear of failure. But freedom requires responsibility, because freedom without responsibility is anarchy, and responsibility without freedom is hell.
- Balance. Balance is that critical line between love and hate, work and play, strategy and dream, thought and action, youth and experience, revenue and profit. Balance is as vital to healthy organisations as it is to healthy societies. It’s no coincidence that all sound law is based on balance.
- Diversity As the essence of a creative environment, diversity creates fantastic conditions for creativity to flourish. Diversity of thought is the unsung hero of strategic insight. Diversity of opinion is the backbone of the greatest societies in human history.
- Transparency. This overused term is nonetheless an essential core value. True transparency is the foundation of all trust. Trust allows confidence to grow and allows our values to be visible.
