Awilda has always had a knack for numbers.
She learned to count to one hundred at age 2. She mastered algebra at age 10. And when she was 13 years old, she created her first budget. Based on a year of babysitting money, she was able to save up for a new bicycle and, best of all, negotiate a discount on a second bicycle for her brother.
That's when she realized she had a knack for marketing, too.
For almost two decades, this love of marketing and numbers has given her a wonderful career—most recently as CFO at CMG Communications and The Vox Collective.
Born and raised in New York City, Awilda now makes her home in New Jersey with her young son. She enjoys gardening, cooking and a holistic approach to health that she shares with her family, friends and any unsuspecting stranger she sees eating a Twinkie.
